According to the sidelink radio link failure processing methods and apparatus provided in the present disclosure, a terminal device can analyze whether failure to detect PSFCH feedback is affected by an LBT failure, and does not update the current value of a detection variable when determining the failure to detect PSFCH feedback is related to the LBT failure, or otherwise allows the detection variable to be updated. The present disclosure can mitigate sidelink radio link failures caused by the effects of LBT, thereby ensuring the communication quality."
