MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611049437 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana, on April 17, for 'sleep assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sleep assistive device, comprising an ovoid-shaped structure 102, a neural-network-enabled camera 101 to authenticate a user, a door 103 to enable access of the structure 102 post authentication, an acoustic foam layer 105 to minimize external noise, an inspection arrangement to evaluate user's stress level and physiological condition, a thermoelectric cooling unit 108 that works in conjunction with multiple iris lids 109 to maintain ideal temperature control and soft airflow across the structure 102, multiple soft-tipped, flexible comb fingers 110 to gently massage scalp of the user, a mattress 116 with multiple air bladders 117 that dynamically adjust firmness based on detected body pressure and posture for optimal user comfort, multiple vibrating units 118 for providing subtle whole-body stimulation enhancing blood circulation and promotes muscle relaxation, and a user interface to enable a user and a therapist to input or access sleep pattern related information of the user."
