The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An apparatus includes an O-DU configured to receive from a radio unit (O-RU), configuration capability information via management plane (M-Plane) command from the O-RU. The O-DU receives, from a higher layer network function, a request to reconfigure an antenna array. The O-DU determines a sleep mode type supported by the O-RU based on the configuration capability information from the O-RU. The O-DU, based on the request to reconfigure the antenna array from the higher layer network function, and based on the supported sleep mode type, applies the supported sleep mode type via a C-Plane Section Type 4 message or a M-Plane command to the O-RU."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 28, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/086172.
