MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517022297 A) filed by Hafele Se And Co Kg., Nagold, Germany, on March 12, for 'sliding door fitting and an item of furniture having such a sliding door fitting.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a sliding door fitting for guiding a first sliding door comprising: a first guide element (5) and a second guide element (7) which can each be connected to the first sliding door (4) and a guide arrangement (9) which has a first end portion (28) and a second end portion (28) which are interconnected by a central portion (29) and via which the first guide element (5) can be guided from a first closed position into a first open position and via which the second guide element (7) can be guided from a second closed position into a second open position wherein the first closed position of the first guide element (5) is arranged in the region of the central portion (29) and the second closed position of the second guide element (7) is arranged in the region of the first end portion (28) wherein a first damper unit (30) for damping a movement of the first guide element (5) from the first open position into the first closed position is provided wherein a damping force of the first damper unit (30) can be transferred to the second guide element (7) via the first guide element (5)."
