MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547083467 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Sept. 2, for 'slot structure for sidelink communication.'
Inventor(s) include Zheng, Naizheng; Abreu, Renato Barbosa; Sanchez, Laura Luque; Wildschek, Torsten; Lunttila, Timo Erkki; Liu, Yong; Kiilerich Pratas, Nuno Manuel; and Liu, Jianguo.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of slot structure for sidelink communication. The method comprises transmitting, at a first device, an indication indicative of a target slot structure to be applied for a multiple consecutive slots transmission within a channel occupancy time. The target slot structure is a first slot structure with a single starting symbol or a second slot structure with a plurality of starting symbols. In this way, overhead for the sidelink transmission can be reduced."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 10, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/075553.
