According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure discloses smart plate system with integrated sensors for portion control and food waste reduction (100) that enables real-time analysis of food characteristics and consumption behavior. The system comprises of plate body (102), load cell (104) for measuring serving weight, capacitive moisture and oil sensor (106), thermal sensor (108), optical/infrared sensor (110), and camera module (112) for capturing food geometry and visual attributes. An onboard processor (114) performs multi-sensor fusion, while a machine-learning module (116) generates adaptive nutritional insights and portion recommendations. A wireless communication module (118) enables transmission of processed data to external applications, and a wireless charging coil (120) supports inductive power replenishment."
