MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012489 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'snow surface cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Hari Krishna Moorthy.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A snow surface cleaning device, comprising a frame 1 provides support to frame 1 on a snow surface, a pair of spiral shaped inflated members 3 for rotating on its axis to provide movement to frame 1 on surface as per requirements, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 generates a 3D map of surroundings, a touch interactive display panel 5 displaying generated map and also accessed by a user to input details regarding a portion of surroundings that is required to be cleaned for actuating members 3 for translating frame 1 towards user specified portion, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting placement of frame 1 for actuating multiple motorized curved shaped tines 6 for digging snow surface, followed by actuation of a motorized conveyor 7 for translating snow from surface to the container 8."
