According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a soft ring for book binding that includes a base strip (1), a plurality of flexible loops (2) extending from one side of the base strip (1), the plurality of flexible loops (2) being arranged at intervals from each other, each flexible loop (2) having a curved portion (7) and a straight portion (8), the straight portion (8) forming an end of the curved portion (7), and soft ring interlocks (4) on an upper surface of the base strip (1) configured to position the straight portion (8) when the straight portion (8) is welded to the base strip (1). The base strip (1) includes interlocking cavities (15) on a lower surface correspondingly matched with the soft ring interlocks (4) to enable stacking of multiple binding consumables."
