MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421023634 A) filed by Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited, Vadodara, Gujarat, on March 22, 2024, for 'solid forms of ritlecitinib or its salts.'
Inventor(s) include Vohra, Irfan; Gandhi, Ojas; and Vishwakarma, Priti.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a solid form of acid addition salt of Ritlecitinib, wherein the acid addition salt is selected from group consisting oxalate, fumarate, hydrochloride, sulphate, acetate, formate, methanesulfonate and succinate. More particularly, the invention relates to crystalline form of the fumarate salt of Ritlecitinib and process of preparation thereof. Further, the invention relates to the amorphous form of Ritlecitinib tosylate and the solid dispersion of Ritlecitinib tosylate."
