MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023596 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'sound insulation strip installation device for four-wheeler vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sound insulation strip installation device for four-wheeler vehicle, comprising a platform 1 installed with an inverted U-shaped handle 2 for maneuvering platform 1 via omnidirectional wheels 3, a touch enabled screen 4 to give input commands for installing sound insulation strip, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 detects height of frame, plurality of telescopically operated rods 6 extend for lifting platform 1, a first robotic arm 7 straightens boundary via a U-shaped member 8, plurality of electronic sprayers 9 spray cleaning solution on frame to loosen dirt/dust from frame, a second robotic arm 11 via a buffing pad 12 removes dirt/dust, a telescopically operated gripper 13 unwraps a suitable length of sound insulation strip from a spool 14, a motorized blade cut unwrapped strip that is engaged with frame, and L-shaped telescopically operated bar 15 maneuvers a rotatable unit 17 over strip."
