MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411074605 A) filed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on Oct. 3, 2024, for 'special fixture for forming of impeller blades of aircraft brake cooling system.'
Inventor(s) include Mr. Agnivesh Kumar Singh; and Mr. Naveen Vishwakarma.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Brake Fan having straight impeller blade, fitted in the special fixture (1) by means of impeller blade support (2), in such a way that one impeller blade fitted in the slot on the rotating rod (4) and restricted the movement of brake fan by impeller blade support (2) which is accurately position with pin assembly located in base plate (1). The indexing of support is carried out with the help of a pin assembly. Opposite end of the rotating rod (4) has handle (5) to get the desired angular deflection in impeller blade and automatically next blade will be positioned in the slot cut in the holder to get the deflection in the impeller blade of brake fan."
