MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517066877 A) filed by Rieter Ag, Winterthur, Switzerland, on July 14, for 'spinning preparation machine.'

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a spinning preparation machine (1) for mixing fibres and to a method for assembling a needle slat cloth (25). The spinning preparation machine (1) has at least three shafts (2, 3, 4, 5), a transport belt (23) and a needle slat cloth (25), wherein the transport belt (23) is arranged below the shafts (2, 3, 4, 5) for removing the fibre material from the shafts (2, 3, 4, 5) and the needle slat cloth (25) is designed as an ascending conveyor. Shaft walls (2, 3, 4, 5) are provided on both sides of the transport belt (23) and of the needle slat cloth (25), wherein the shaft walls (2, 3, 4, 5) have a distance (32) to one another that is at least 20 mm to 100 mm smaller than the width (31) of the transport belt (23) and of the needle slat cloth (25)."
