MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517020972 A) filed by Sutro Biopharma Inc., San Francisco, on March 7, for 'spray dried extract.'
Inventor(s) include Gettel Douglas Lee; Zawada James; Kiss Robert David; Dwyer Allison; Singh Amarjeet; Johnson Richard Alan; Pieri Lisa Sawicki; and Dowlatshahi Dara Patrick.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This disclosure provides for an improved method of stabilizing spray dried bacterial extracts with a composition comprising a stabilizer such that the extracts can be used in cell free protein synthesis. Also provided herein are formulations for stable spray dried bacterial extracts that have increased protein synthesis activity compared to spray dried bacterial extracts that do not contain a stabilizer."
