MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341087342 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'stabilized patient transporting device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A stabilized patient transporting device comprising a frame 1 arranged with a pair of inverted U-shaped handles 2 for enabling user to grip frame 1, a cushioned member 3 attached on handles 2 to provide comfort to user while gripping handles 2, an imaging unit 4 mounted on frame 1 for capturing surrounding's images, a holographic projection unit 5 mounted on frame 1 for projecting holographic image, a platform 6 arranged within frame 1 for accommodating patient, multiple weight sensors arranged on platform 6 for detecting accommodation of patient, multiple motorized rollers 7 configured on platform 6 for winding strap 8 to secure patient with platform 6, a gyroscope 9 installed on platform 6 for detecting angle of platform 6 with respect to frame 1, and a motorized pivot joint 10 connected between platform 6 and frame 1 to stabilized platform 6 to prevent patient from falling."
