MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527083036 A) filed by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, Maharashtra, on Sept. 1, for 'stable protein compositions of anti-pd1 antibody.'
Inventor(s) include Shah, Bhavik Kumar; Sharma, Manish; Jogani, Viralkumar Vinodlal; Khopade, Ajay Jaysingh; Nagaraja, Ravishankara Madavati; and Chouhan, Pankaj Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to stable compositions of an antibody against human programmed death receptor PD-1, or antigen binding fragments thereof. The invention further provides methods for treating various cancers with stable formulations of the invention. The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions of an anti-PD1 antibody comprising a buffer, a sugar or sugar alcohol and a surfactant. In some embodiments of the invention, the formulations may be administered to a subject by intravenous or subcutaneous administration."
