MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531017974 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'stain-proof enabled kitchen cleanliness maintenance device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A stain-proof enabled kitchen cleanliness maintenance device, comprising a frame 101 having a plate 102 accessed by user for installing the frame 101 behind a stove, suction cups 103 for adhering the frame 101 with the stove, an imaging unit 104 capturing images in vicinity of the frame 101 to determine dimensions of the stove, pair of flaps 105 covers sides of the stove, motorized hinges 106 orients frame 101 in periphery of the stove from three sides to prevent splashing of food, a drawer arrangement 107 extend the plate 102 and flaps 105 for maintaining an optimum height of the frame 101, a wiper 108 via telescopically operated rod 109 wipes the plate 102 and flaps 105 and a motorized ball and socket joint provide movement to the rods 109 to translate the wiper 108 at the determined angle of portion of the stove in order to maintain cleanliness."
