MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541074955 A) filed by Jain, Prakashi S, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Aug. 6, 2025, for 'stainless steel gas burner assembly for a cooktop appliance.'
Inventor(s) include Gandhi, Sanjay J.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a gas burner assembly (102) for cooktop appliances, for improved flame performance, durability, and manufacturing efficiency. A burner head (104) is fabricated from an austenitic stainless steel sheet of 1.5 mm to 3 mm thickness using a two-stage tooling setup, including a blanking die and a deep drawing die. A plurality of flame ports (106), each having a diameter between 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm, are formed on the top surface of the burner head (104) through a post-drawing punching process. These flame ports (106) are arranged in concentric circular rows for uniform flame distribution. A set of gas and air mixing channels (108), formed as recessed grooves beneath the flame ports (106), ensures efficient mixing and combustion. The proposed gas burner assembly (102) offers enhanced fuel-air mixing, uniform heat distribution, and a robust, long-lasting construction with simplified manufacturing."
