According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a system for storage write control during startup of a computing device. The system comprises a processor, a trust element, at least one storage device, and memory storing a processing arrangement executable during startup. The processing arrangement initiates a startup sequence, performs a trusted boot sequence, verifies integrity of boot components, authenticates a write-control component, and initializes the write-control component prior to execution of operating-system user processes. The write-control component intercepts storage write requests and applies a storage write-control policy based on authentication results obtained during startup, maintaining policy application across subsequent startup sequences."
