MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517070906 A) filed by Nippon Steel Corporation, Tokyo, on July 25, for 'steel sheet.'

Inventor(s) include Nakano, Katsuya.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a steel sheet characterized by having a predetermined chemical composition and having a microstructure which contains, in terms of area ratio, 15-40% of ferrite, 40-65% of tempered martensite, 10-20% of retained austenite, 10-30% of bainite, 1-10% of pearlite, and 0-10% of as-quenched martensite and in which the value obtained by dividing an average Mn concentration in the ferrite by a Mn concentration in a base material is at most 0.980, and the value obtained by dividing an average Mn concentration in the retained austenite by the Mn concentration in the base material is 1.150-2.000."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 28, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/007284.
