The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention addresses the problem of providing a steel sheet and a plated steel sheet having a high LME resistance. This steel sheet and plated steel sheet are characterized: by having prescribed chemical components; in that the depth, in the depth direction from the surface of the steel sheets, at which the C concentration as measured by GDS is no more than 0.01% is at least 3 m; in that the thickness, in the depth direction from the surface of the steel sheets, of a layer that has a cementite area ratio no greater than 10% is at least 8 m; and in that the surface roughness of the steel sheets is, as an arithmetic mean roughness Ra, greater than 3.0 m."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 12, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/000591.
