MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202534021653 A) filed by Futaba Industrial Co. Ltd., Aichi, Japan, on March 11, for 'steering support device.'
Inventor(s) include Niinomi, Hirotaka.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A steering support device includes a main body part of an instrument panel reinforcement member to be disposed in a front part of a vehicle, and a steering member attached to the main body part to support a steering. The steering member includes an upper member and a lower member that have plate shapes and that are disposed to face each other. The steering member has a hollow cross-sectional shape formed by the upper member and the lower member. At least one of the upper member or the lower member is coupled to the main body part."
