The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This method for manufacturing structural members (10, 10A, 10B) comprises a heating step for heating a material (M) formed from a metal plate; and a molding step for using a mold (20) to mold the heated material (M) into the structural members (10, 10A, 10B). The mold (20) includes a lower mold (21), a pad (23), and an upper mold (22). A top surface (211) of the lower mold (21) includes a top surface body (211A) and an overhanging portion (211B). The pad (23) faces the top surface body (211A). In the molding step, the material (M) is pressed with the upper mold (22) and the lower mold (21) brought relatively closer to each other in a state in which the material (M) is held by the top surface body (211A) and the pad (23) but is not held by the overhanging portion (211B), the upper mold (22), and the pad (23)."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 14, 2022, under International application No.PCT/JP2022/042159.
