MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023580 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'stuck key removing assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Suyash Kumar Srivastava; and Dr. Durgesh Wadhwa.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A stuck key removing assistive device comprises of, a cylindrical body 1 having proximal and distal end, artificial intelligence based imaging unit 2 mounted over the body 1 to determine location of the lock along with dimension of the keyhole, a J-shaped telescopic rod arranged with the body 1 to get extend, suction unit assembled with the rod, over back portion of the lock, to grip the lock, multiple telescopic grippers 3 of various dimensions arranged with a circular siding unit attached on the body 1 to extend and grip blade portion of the key, L-shaped telescopic bar is arranged over the body 1 to extend and retract in a reciprocatory manner and a hammer assembled with the bar to hit the lock for assisting in loosening the grip of the key."
