Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Substituted Heterocyclic Compound Derivatives And Their Pharmaceutical Use' Filed by Avelos Therapeutics Inc.

MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056288 A) filed by Avelos Therapeutics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 11, for 'substituted heterocyclic compound derivatives and their pharmaceutical use.'

Inventor(s) include Baek, Ki Seon; Khoo, Ja Heouk; Choi, Soongyu; Park, Young Whan; Le Grand, Darren; Yao, Wan-Ling; and Kim, Jung Hwan.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This invention relates to compounds which are microtubule associated serine/threonine-like kinase (MASTL) inhibitors and the use of the compounds in the treatment of diseases and medical conditions mediated by MASTL, for example in the treatment of cancer and other target related diseases."
