MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202518053536 A) filed by Fmc Corporation, Philadelphia, on June 2, for 'substituted tolyl as fungicides.'

Inventor(s) include Bereznak, James, Francis; Taggi, Andrew, Edmund; and Bolgunas, Stephen, P.

The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A compound selected from Formula 12, and salts thereof, 12 C H3C A Q R1 R N 2 Wherein A is (R5 )n N N, A-1 wherein the bond extending to the right is attached to the ring containing Q and the bond extending to the left is attached to the phenyl ring; n is 0; Q is CR6; R1 and R2 are each F; R6 is C1-C6 hydroxyalkyl, C1-C6 alkenyl or -ZC(=O)V; Z is a direct bond; V is R9; and R9 is methyl."
