Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Surgical Drains And Methods For Use' Filed by Koko Medical Inc.

MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517045001 A) filed by Koko Medical Inc., Exton, U.S.A., on May 9, for 'surgical drains and methods for use.'

Inventor(s) include Greenhalgh E. Skott; and Keiser Jason.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Described herein are surgical drains including a distal porous drain region having two or more adjacent porous layers through which negative pressure may be applied to provide a uniform negative pressure within the body region being treated.
