MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010700 A) filed by EV Podcars, Grand Baie, Mauritius, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'suspended vehicle sway arrest steering system.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vehicle motion unit (100, 200) for a vehicle to be suspended from and movable over an elevated track (102, 202) is disclosed. The vehicle motion unit (100, 200) includes a swivel arm (110, 204, 400) and a set of wheel axles mounted thereto. The set of wheel axles includes a first wheel axle (112, 206, 406) and a second wheel axle (114, 208, 408). Further, a first wheel set (116, 210, 412) is mounted on each end of the first wheel axle (112, 206, 406) and a second wheel set (118, 212, 414) is mounted on each end of the second wheel axle (114, 208, 408). The vehicle motion unit (100, 200) further includes a supporting element (300) to apply a relative force between the first wheel axle (112, 206, 406) and the second wheel axle (114, 208, 408) to at least reduce a distance therebetween."
