The suspension assembly (100) comprises a plurality of leaf springs (102) configured to be operatively coupled to an axle (108) of the vehicle, a plurality of wear pads (104) to support and slidably receive at least one leaf spring of the plurality of leaf springs (102), each wear pad comprising a pair of side ribs (116) to provide lateral stability and restrict lateral movement of the plurality of leaf springs (102), a plurality of longitudinal ribs (118) to reinforce the plurality of wear pads (104) against bending and compressive loads, at least one camber member (106) to limit excessive bending of the plurality of leaf springs (102) during load and articulation conditions, a rebound strap (124) operatively coupled to each wear pad and configured to restrict excessive vertical movement of the plurality of leaf springs (102) during rebound conditions."
