MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517072432 A) filed by Ferrme Group Limited Liability Company, Tuymen, Russia, on July 30, for 'suspension for magnetic particle inspection.'
Inventor(s) include Maksimov, Lev Igorevich; Sokolov, Roman Alexandrovich; Kuskov, Konstantin Viktorovich; Slobozhanina, Marina Igorevna; Maksimova, Svetlana Valentinovna; Tyulkov, Mikhail Antolievich; and Slobozhanina, Oksana Igorevna.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Use: for magnetic particle inspection. The essence of the invention consists in that a suspension for magnetic particle inspection contains a water or hydrocarbon-based carrier liquid and a ferromagnetic powder comprised of ferromagnetic particles obtained from iron-containing industrial waste by dispersive and/or thermochemical treatment, which have an initial degree of roundness and sphericity of not less than 0.15, the suspension also having an overall kinematic viscosity of not more than 90 cSt (centistokes) at 20 C, the ingredients being present in the following proportions: 0.05-90.0 wt% ferromagnetic powder, 10.0-99.95 wt% carrier liquid. The technical result is an increase in the sensitivity of the ferromagnetic suspension in terms of detecting surface and subsurface defects."
The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 09, 2023, under International application No.PCT/RU2023/050190.
