MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311087961 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'swingarm of a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a swingarm (140) of a vehicle (100). The swingarm (140) includes a wheel engagement portion (222), a first arm (224), a second arm (226), and a third arm (228). The wheel engagement portion (222) is adapted to rotatably couple the rear ground engaging member (124) to the swingarm (140). The first arm (224) extends forwardly from the wheel engagement portion (222) to a power unit (126) of the vehicle (100). The second arm (226) extends forwardly and upwardly from the wheel engagement portion (222) to the power unit (126). The third arm (228) extends rearwardly and upwardly from the wheel engagement portion (222). The first arm (224), the second arm (226), and the third arm (228) are made up of a channel-shaped cross-section profile (302). The channel-shaped cross-section profile (302) is a C-shaped channel profile."
