MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026022 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'swinging-based amusement device for child and guardian.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A swinging-based amusement device for child and guardian, comprising an inverted U-shaped frame 1 suspended with a pair of L-shaped extendable platform 2 via a cylindrical hollow member 3, the platform 2 s accommodates a child and guardian of the child separately, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 detects height of the child and guardian, a plate 5 installed with a chair-shaped structure 6 allows the child and guardian to attain a seating position over the structure 6, a pair of straps 7 secures the structure 6 around belly portion of the child and guardian, and a motorized pivot joint 10 provides a to-and-fro motion to the member 3 with respect to the frame 1."
