MUMBAI, India, July 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511060329 A) filed by Rayat Bahra University; Rayat Bahra Institute Of Engineering & Nano Technology; and Bahra University, Mohali, Punjab, on June 24, for 'synchronized signal and lighting system for tractors and trolleys.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Anmol Goyal; Ms. Sonal Sood; Ms. Gurinder Kaur; and Mr. Sachit Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on July 11, under issue no. 28/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention Synchronized Signal and Lighting System for Tractors and Trolleys (100) enhances visibility and road safety by ensuring real-time synchronization of turn indicators, brake lights, and parking lights (106) between a tractor (101) and an attached trolley (102). The system consists of a transmitter unit (104) installed in the tractor (101) and a receiver unit (107) mounted on the trolley (102), capable of supporting both wired and wireless communication for seamless operation. By mirroring the tractor's signals instantly, the invention eliminates manual signaling and complex wiring, reducing the risk of accidents and improving efficiency in agricultural, rural transport, and industrial logistics applications. The receiver unit is portable, allowing use across multiple trolleys, and can be powered through an onboard battery, tractor connection, or solar energy. Additionally, smart variants offer diagnostics and failure alerts for enhanced reliability. This easy-to- install, adaptable, and low-maintenance system provides a standardized solution for tractor-trolley signaling, making rural transportation safer and more efficient."
