MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421023021 A) filed by Jio Platforms Limited, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on March 23, 2024, for 'system and method for establishing a secure communication in a wireless network.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a system (100) and a method (400) for establishing secure communication between a central server (102) and a remote server (104) in a wireless network. The method includes determining an availability of a hidden directory in a central server's home directory upon successful login to an edge node of the central server (102) and generating key pairs for secure authentication if a public key file is unavailable within the hidden directory. Furthermore, the method includes verifying the presence of a remote host key in a host file on the central server (102) and adding it to the central server (102) if not available. The method further includes securely transmitting generated public key to the remote server (104), enabling password-less communication between the central server (102) and the remote server (104)."
