MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311086071 A) filed by Mercedes-Benz Group Ag, Stuttgart, Germany, on Dec. 16, 2023, for 'system and method for generating a human pose deformity classifier.'
Inventor(s) include Anushekhar Grandhi; Bharath Bhat; Rahul Manekar; Shuaib Ahmed; and Vaibhav Kothawade.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system (100) and a method (800) for generating a human pose deformity classifier. The system (100) generates one or more three dimensional (3D) positioning co-ordinates corresponding to a user and a 3D configuration of a vehicle seat. The system (100) extracts one or more features from the one or more 3D positioning co-ordinates corresponding to the user and the 3D configuration of the vehicle seat. The system (100) segments the 3D configuration of the vehicle seat into one or more regions. The system (100) generates a cost function based time trigger based on a weighted cost function. The system (100) generates a support vector machine (SVM) error score classifier based on the cost function based time trigger, a region score vector, and an error score vector."
