MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421021576 A) filed by Jio Platforms Limited, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on March 21, 2024, for 'system and method for heat map generation for a building to visualize signal parameters.'

Inventor(s) include Bhatnagar, Pradeep Kumar; Bhatnagar, Aayush; Ambaliya, Haresh; Malviya, Rohit; Sharma, Aditya; and Singh, Priyamvada.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure discloses a system and a method for generating heat map to optimize and visualize a distribution of network within a building. The method includes receiving one or more inputs from the user equipment (UE) by the one or more processors. The one or more processors gathers a set of parameters associated with the one or more inputs from a central server. Further, the set of parameters are used to calculate a set of signal parameters to predict a signal quality and generating a heat map. Based on the predicted signal quality, the heat map represents the signal quality using one or more color codes to optimize and visualize the distribution of the network."
