MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441037048 A) filed by Docker Vision Private Limited, Kunnathunad, Kerala, on May 10, 2024, for 'system and method for panoramic image generation of moving object using static imaging device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system (100) for generating a panoramic image of a moving object (202) using static imaging device (104). The system (100) comprising a processor (106) configured to receive a plurality of video frames of the moving object (202) captured sequentially in a direction of movement of the moving object (202), identify a set of relevant video frames from the plurality of captured video frames, select a region of interest (ROI) from each identified video frame of the set of relevant video frames, identify a set of key points from the selected ROI of each identified video frame, determine pixel distances between two or more identified key points from the set of key points that are visible in the overlapped video frames and align and merge the ROI selected from each identified video frame to generate the panoramic image."
