MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521125247 A) filed by Manzoor Ali Sayed, Maharashtra, on Dec. 11, 2025, for 'system and method for platform-agnostic haptic synchronization over streaming video links.'
Inventor(s) include Manzoor Ali Sayed.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "System and Method for Platform-Agnostic Haptic Synchronization Over Streaming Video Links The invention relates to a platform-agnostic system and method for providing synchronized haptic feedback for any externally hosted streaming video link. The system receives a video URL and a corresponding haptic effects file, processes both through a cloud-based multi-layer binding engine, and generates a unique shareable link and QR code representing a unified interactive experience. During playback, the system launches a dual-engine environment that includes an embedded video player and a haptic engine running concurrently on the user's device. Synchronization between the video and haptic timeline is achieved using timestamp mapping, audio fingerprint analysis, or cloud-based timing signals. The invention operates independently of the video hosting platform and requires no modification of the original video content. By enabling creators and users to augment any existing video link with immersive tactile feedback, the system provides a universal and scalable solution for enhancing multimedia experiences across diverse devices and applications."
