MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517081088 A) filed by Avery Dennison Corporation, Mentor, U.S.A., on Aug. 27, for 'system and method for producing decorative laminates.'
Inventor(s) include Van Haren, Rens; Wolfberger, Archim; and Oprandi, Natascia.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Discussed herein are a method, a system and a kit relating to producing decorative laminates. Exemplary embodiments discussed herein are related to a printer system (100), namely a roll-to-roll printer, capable of depositing and curing both ink (120) and a haptic layer (124) on a film with no further processing required after the curing of each of the ink and the haptic layer."
The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 05, 2024, under International application No.PCT/IB2024/052108.
