MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621008173 A) filed by Sage University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Jan. 28, for 'system and method for real-time integrated academic and health record management.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Prashant Jain; Dr. Ati Jain; Dr. Ritu Tandon; Atharva Barve; Diya Gomes; and Kushagra Neekhra.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system (100A) for real-time integrated academic and health record management is disclosed, comprising a hardware processor (104) configured to integrate records across organizational boundaries. The hardware processor (104) integrates an academic record from an academic database (106) and a health record from a health database (108) through a data integration layer (110). The hardware processor (104) stores a hashed transaction log in a blockchain ledger (112) for each data modification comprising a student identifier hash, timestamp, record type indicator, and access key. The hardware processor (104) analyzes, using a trained artificial intelligence model (114), a correlation between a health indicator and an academic performance metric to predict an academic risk condition. The hardware processor (104) generates an intervention alert for transmission to an authorized user device (116) when predicted risk meets defined criteria."
