MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511126138 A) filed by Geetanjali Saini; and Vineet Sinha, Gurgaon, Haryana, on Dec. 12, 2025, for 'system and method for secure offline audit log extraction and machine readable optical transfer with on-device automated technical security classification.'
Inventor(s) include Geetanjali Saini; and Vineet Sinha.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention provides a system and method for secure extraction and offline transfer of audit log data from endpoint computing devices. The endpoint executes a lightweight scheduled or on-demand data-collection routine to generate a cryptographically protected audit capsule comprising system logs and configuration information. The audit capsule is fragmented and encoded into one or more indexed machine-readable optical segments, including multi part QR codes, which are displayed for optical capture. A portable audit device optically scans the segments, reconstructs the audit capsule, and performs cryptographic integrity and authenticity verification. The verified audit data may optionally be processed for automated technical analysis and centralized aggregation. The invention enables tamper-evident, energy-efficient, and fully offline audit operations suitable for secure, restricted, and air-gapped computing environments without requiring live system login, network connectivity, or removable storage media."
