MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441006253 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'system for charging a battery pack and method thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system (100) and a method (200) for charging a battery pack (102). The system has a control unit (106) communicably coupled to the charger unit (104) and the battery pack (102). The control unit (106) is configured to determine at least one of a grid capacity of the power source (108) and one or more battery parameters of the battery pack (102), determine the charging current corresponding to the at least one of the grid capacity of the power source (108) and the one or more battery parameters of the battery pack (102) and enable the charger unit (104) for providing the charging current to the battery pack (102) for charging."
