MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544020231 A) filed by Te Connectivity Solutions Gmbh, Schaffhausen, Switzerland, on March 6, for 'system for connecting two separate busbars to a coaxial busbar.'
Inventor(s) include Balles, Wolfgang; Saenger, Walter; and Schaefer, Lucia.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The system (20) presented for connecting two separate busbars (6a, 6b) to a coaxial busbar (4) optimizes the electrical connection in electromobility and energy storage systems. An innovative housing assembly (2, 3) integrates specific receptacles (10, 7a, 7b) for coaxial busbars (4) and separate busbars (6a, 6b), supported by intermediate busbars (5a, 5b) that are connectable in an electrically conductive manner, in particular connectable in a cohesive bond manner. The connection assembly (1) presented facilitates efficient and safe assembly and provides flexibility for various applications. The invention addresses the challenges of electromobility and energy distribution by providing a robust and adaptable solution for the integration in compact as well as power-intensive systems, making it an attractive choice for advanced applications."
