MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012831 A) filed by Bennett University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'system for creating virtual reality healthcare simulations.'
Inventor(s) include Prof. Arpit Bhardwaj; and Dr. Jagendra Singh.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system and method for creating virtual reality healthcare simulations. The system includes modules for generating a virtual reality environment simulating a healthcare setting, creating virtual patients within the environment, and enabling user interaction with the virtual patients to perform healthcare-related tasks or procedures. The system also includes an assessment module for evaluating user performance and a training module for providing instructional content. The virtual reality-enabled device can be used for displaying the simulation. The system offers greater flexibility, customization, and interactivity, allowing users to customize the simulation to their needs and receive feedback on their performance."
