MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202431022246 A) filed by Vehere Interactive Private Limited, Kolkata, West Bengal, on March 22, 2024, for 'system for reducing false alerts from network detection and response tool.'
Inventor(s) include Praveen Jaiswal; Debapriyay Mukhopadhyay; and Japneet Singh Chahal.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system and a method for reducing false alerts from network detection and response tools are provided. The system retrieves traffic data associated with a network session between a client device and a server. The traffic data includes a first set of parameters associated with the client device and a second set of parameters associated with the server. The system determines a client entropy value and a server entropy value based on the retrieved traffic data. The system determines a non-empty packet value based on the first set of parameters associated with the client device and the second set of parameters associated with the server. The system provides, as an input, the client entropy value, the server entropy value, and the non-empty packet value to a machine learning (ML) model and generates an alert based on an output of the ML model."
