Inventor(s) include Varma, Pradeep.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "We teach a pluggable water heater reusing a kitchen stove and convection-driven piping that heats the water contained in an overhead indoor or outdoor, preferably insulated, hot-water tank, that is simple, cheap, and safe (no overheating related explosions). The cost of heating is just the cost of the stove use for the amount of energy expended. Additionally, we provide a zero cost adaptation, that captures the waste, line-of-sight, radiated heat from a kitchen stove and heats the water for free."
