MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411030019 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology, New Delhi, on April 13, 2024, for 'system utilizing switched capacitor dc-dc converter to provide multiple programmable outputs and multiple conversion ratios.'

Inventor(s) include Jain, Ankesh; and Pradhan, Abhishek.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system utilizing switched capacitor (SC) DC-DC converter to provide multiple outputs and conversion ratios. The system (100) comprises a switched capacitor DC-DC converter (102) producing one or more output channels with corresponding conversion ratios. A power adaptive oscillator (104) generates switching clocks for the converter. Feedforward controllers (106) regulate output channels and associated ratios, while feedback controllers (108) adjust these ratios during load transients. A digital control block (112) processes data from both sets of controllers to generate unique index values. The digital control block includes a look-up table (114) mapping probable conversion ratios to the index values."
