MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517067852 A) filed by Odix, Thimister-Clermont, Belgium, on July 16, for 'systems and method for mobilizing a low back of a human subject.'

Inventor(s) include Frankenne, Francis Emile Jean; Gordenne, Valerie Fernande Jeanne; Delcorps, Xavier Gerard Monique; and Deflandre, Sophie Francoise Christophe.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system for mobilizing a low back of a human subject, wherein the system comprises: a seating platform, comprising a seat having a seating surface for supporting the buttocks of the human subject, wherein a first centre axis of the seating surface extends a first horizontal direction; wherein the seating platform is configured to seat the human subject with the legs in front of the seat when seen in a second horizontal direction, wherein the second horizontal direction is perpendicular to the first horizontal direction; an actuating system configured to move the seating platform with a plurality of degrees of freedom, wherein one of the degrees of freedom is a rotation around a horizontal rotation axis with extends parallel to the first horizontal direction, wherein the horizontal rotation axis is offset from the first centre axis when seen in the second horizontal direction."

The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 31, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/052366.
