MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511127074 A) filed by Rayat Bahra University; Bahra University; and Rayat Bahra Professional University, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 15, 2025, for 'tank vehicle cleaning system.'

Inventor(s) include Raibarinder Singh; Abhineet Chauhan; Gurpreet Kaur; and Mamta Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tank vehicle cleaning system comprises of platform 101 equipped with the motorized wheels 102 to move the platform 101 from one place to another, a camera 104 mounted on the platform 101 for 360-degree rotational movement to scan and record an oil tank vehicle, a display panel 103 to provide input commands regarding oil tank cleaning operation, an inverted L-shaped telescopic rod 105 with a first motorized rotary brush 106 to position the first brush 106 over outer surface of the oil tank for cleaning, an U-shaped telescopic bar 107 with a second motorized rotary brush 108 to position the second brush 108 within inner surface of the oil tank for cleaning, a telescopically operated gripper 109 to grip plurality of cylindrical caps configured with a motorized clipper, within a chamber, to grip and cover manhole lids of the tank vehicle."
