The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "In many regions, wearing a helmet while driving a motorcycle or bicycle is required by law. These regulations are implemented to enhance road safety and reduce the severity of injuries in case of accidents. Helmets provide protection not only from impacts but also from debris, insects, wind, and adverse weather conditions while driving. This added protection enhances comfort and safety for the driver, particularly during long rides or in diverse environments. Hence, helmets are designed to absorb and dissipate the force of impact in the event of a crash or collision. They provide crucial protection to the head, reducing the risk of traumatic brain injuries, skull fractures, and other serious head injuries that can result from accidents while driving. Though the usage of helmets has a positive influence on our safety, most people avoid using them even though drivers without helmets will be subjected to legal penalties, fines, and liabilities. So, as an initiative of social responsibility, we have designed a key with the provision of sensors in it, so that if the person in possession of the vehicle's key is not wearing a helmet, then the notification will be sent to the concerned owner of that vehicle and also the automatic switch in the vehicle will not allow the person to ride the vehicle without a helmet by cutting off the power system to the vehicle from the engine."
