MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024002 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'teeth brushing device for animals.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A teeth brushing device for animals, comprising a C-shaped extendable body 1 developed to be positioned in contact with teeth of an animal, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 to detect dimensions of animal's jaws, a handle 3 fabricated with cushion pad for comfortable gripping, plurality of extendable fine members 4 layered with silicon layer and equipped with pneumatic units for securing animal's teeth safely; a chamber 5 to store teeth cleaning paste, plurality of miniaturized electronic valves 6 to dispense paste, a microphone 7 to receive voice commands from user, a speaker 8 to produce voice signals to notify user, a motorized roller 9 configured with a strap 10 to secure animal's mouth, plurality of miniaturized electronic nozzles 11 connected with a vessel 12 stored with water to dispense water to rinse animal's teeth."
